Senior Production and Compliance Coordinator

- Salary $90 – $95K plus Super (potentially higher based on skills/experience)
Our client is a well-known and beautiful women’s apparel and accessories brand based in the Inner West with a large brick and mortar and online presence across Australia.
This role will suit an experienced Senior Production and Compliance Coordinator with proven experience managing the critical path end to end and quality control, with high attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle, maintaining the Critical Path to ensure timely sample development and on-time product delivery.
- Liaise with local and offshore suppliers to oversee all aspects of product manufacturing.
- Oversee the Quality Control process to ensure all products meet required standards, addressing any issues as they arise.
- Coordinate fabric testing and verify results to ensure accurate fibre content labelling on garments.
- Communicate weekly delivery schedules to the warehouse to support efficient inbound planning.
- Coordinate invoices for offshore supplier payments
- Coordinate logistics and shipping with offshore suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Support company initiatives on sustainable sourcing, responsible materials, and circular fashion
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5 years Production Coordinator level or Supply Chain experience within the fashion industry
- Proven ability to manage critical paths, supplier relationships, and logistics operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PLM, and ERP systems
- Experience working with offshore suppliers
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing practices, CHAFTA and familiarity with sustainability certifications
- Exposure to international shipping regulations and global markets
- 5 years of experience in apparel compliance, preferably with women’s fashion products
- Strong understanding of global compliance standards
- Tertiary qualification in Fashion, Production, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience working with third-party testing labs and auditing bodies
