Business Analyst

Our client is a leading provider of patient administration software for private hospitals and practices. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Analyst, who has specifically worked within private hospitals and understands the associate data and systems. 

Working with another Business Analyst, in this role you will work across 4 key areas including product analysis, testing, integrations and technical support. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Manager to gather, clarify and document requirements for new features and enhancements across their patient administration system and practice management products
  • Run workshops / interviews with internal stakeholders and clients to understand workflows and edge cases
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows
  • Review and test work delivered by developers before it’s released to clients 
  • Create and execute test cases and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Act as the primary liaison for third-party vendors and clients integrating with their systems
  • Help integration partners understand their APIs, webhooks, data structures and event flows
  • Analyse integration requirements and map them to our API/webhook capabilities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting integration issues using logs, SQL queries and API tools 
  • Support the help desk team with more complex/technical support tickets

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience in the Australia healthcare/private hospital sector, essential
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience with patient administration system (PAS)
  • Hands-on experience with ECLIPSE claiming protocols in a hospital environment
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data 
  • Experience working with APIs 
  • The ability to work independently and thrive in a 100% remote work environment
  • Strong engagement and collaboration skills
