Production Coordinator

Our client is a successful menswear apparel retailer with both brick and mortar and a strong Ecommerce presence, that has an opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join their established team for a 6-12 months maternity leave contract, as they continue to grow and expand as a business. You will be part of a team that is driven and supportive, ready to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactive management of production critical paths ensuring on time delivery and accuracy at all times
- Cost price negotiation, meeting/exceeding first margin requirements of category and brand
- Manage the product development and production process of individual categories from end to end
- Identify delivery exceptions to the Product Developer/Sourcing Manager offering solutions
- Manage supplier performance, and secure improvements in price/quality/delivery/development times
- Manage new supplier onboarding
- Oversee transportation of stock from factory to warehouse
To be successful within this role, you will have:
- 2-3 years apparel production experience
- Experience with managing fit sessions
- Strong technical knowledge
- Can-do attitude with excellent work ethic
- High attention to detail
