Join a leading global organisation operating within the consumer product goods sector, supporting a diverse portfolio of well-known brands across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a newly created leadership role responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing customer service team. You will play a critical role in supporting sales operations, enhancing customer experience and ensuring service excellence across multiple channels and markets.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing team development, operational delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer service specialists to deliver high-quality support
- Manage customer escalations through to resolution, ensuring strong service outcomes
- Establish, track and optimise team KPIs to drive performance and accountability
- Support the team with day-to-day operational workload during peak periods
- Act as the key liaison between Customer Service, Sales teams and Category Managers
- Deliver reporting and insights across sales data, brands and product categories
- Coordinate seasonal product launches in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Maintain pricing accuracy across key accounts and ensure adherence to contractual agreements
- Oversee warranty claims and returns processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across customer service processes and systems
- Manage ad hoc projects to support business growth and operational efficiency
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3 years in a Customer Service Manager role
- Background in wholesale or product-based environments preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- SAP experience essential (or similar ERP systems)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset
