Are you a hands-on content leader who knows how to build brand fame, not just fill a content calendar?

We are partnering with a fast-growing, digitally-led beauty retail brand that has built a cult following across Australia. With a strong ecommerce presence, premium supplier partnerships and ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for a Head of Content to architect and elevate their brand voice across every channel.

The opportunity:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the end-to-end content strategy while remaining deeply involved in execution. You will lead major campaign moments throughout the year, shape the brand narrative and ensure every piece of content cuts through in a highly competitive retail environment.

You will also lead a small but high-performing team and work cross-functionally with Ecommerce, CRM, design and performance media partners to drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities:
• Architect and execute a high-impact, multi-channel content strategy
• Own and define the brand voice across organic social, PR and community touchpoints
• Personally develop high-performing paid media creative concepts and scroll-stopping hooks
• Lead the planning and delivery of major sale campaigns and brand moments annually
• Partner with suppliers to execute marketing initiatives and report on performance
• Brief and collaborate with design, ecommerce and performance teams
• Mentor and lead 3 direct reports while maintaining strong individual output

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A proven track record of growing brand presence on TikTok and Instagram, with clear examples of audience growth, engagement uplift and content performance
• Ability to be in front of the camera and in socials and videos 
• Demonstrated experience creating high-performing short-form video content that drives thumb-stop rates and engagement
• Strong understanding of paid creative strategy and how organic and performance work together
• Experience leading campaign execution across multiple channels including social, web, EDM and in-store assets
• The ability to operate at speed in a fast-paced retail or ecommerce environment
• Confidence working with external partners, agencies and suppliers
• A hands-on approach with the ability to both strategise and execute
