Position Overview:
Due to growth, they are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Creative & Content to lead their content and design teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated creative campaigns that bring their brand to life across all channels. 

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of content creation and the ability to inspire and develop a team of talented creatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of integrated creative campaigns across all brand touchpoints (digital, social, content, retail, experiential) ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with overarching brand objectives
  • Act as brand steward and creative visionary, working closely with the Marketing Director, CMO and Founder to interpret the brand’s evolving positioning and visual identity into inspiring and innovative creative campaigns
  • Lead the ideation, concept development and execution of BAU, seasonal and brand campaigns
  • Oversee content strategy and production plans across social, web, eDMs and paid assets, ensuring consistency, effectiveness and alignment with overarching brand objectives
  • Evolve and maintain a compelling, distinctive voice for owned channels
  • Guide and support the team in producing scroll-stopping, shareable social content that builds community and drives growth and stays true to their brand DNA
  • Leverage customer insights and emerging trends to influence real-time content strategies that respond to cultural moments and platform opportunities
  • Act as project sponsor across all major creative and content workstreams
  • Support the direction of photo/video shoots and creative production, from concept to post
  • Support and mentor the Content and Design teams fostering professional growth, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and building long-term capability 
  • Advocate for new content formats and test-and-learn approaches to drive performance

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 15 years in creative content, campaign or art direction roles within brand, agency or retail, with a focus on full 360 campaign integration 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related discipline
  • Experience directing photo/video shoots and content production
  • Experience bringing storytelling to life 
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and creatives
  • Strong portfolio of campaign, social media and content work
  • Confident and nurturing team leader with high creative standards and strong commercial understanding
  • Ability to brief, direct and critique design, video, and copy work
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
