HR Manager

An innovative and fast-growing Australian brand, with an international presence is seeking a stand-alone HR Manager who will work closely with the leadership team to drive culture, compliance, capability and connection within the luxury home products sector.
In this hands-on role, you will be trusted to take ownership, initiative and follow through, working with Head Office staff, Sales Reps, Warehouse and offshore staff. This role will suit someone who values straight talk, get things done without fuss and can bring structure without red tape. You’re not afraid to challenge ideas if something better can be done, along with being hands-on in this multifaceted role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own onboarding, offboarding and HR admin with precision
- Run lean, smart hiring processes
- Maintain compliance and manage documentation
- Improve processes across contracts, systems and engagement
- Partner with leadership on culture, policy and performance
- Be the go-to for everyday people challenges
- Help design and roll out practical culture-building activities aligned with their values
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3-5 years experience in HR generalist, business partner or operational HR roles, ideally within a standalone environment
- Tech savvy with a passion for AI to improve HR processes and efficiencies i.e. ChatGPT
- Comfortable working with HRIS platforms, ideally Employment Hero
- Experience working in founder-led, entrepreneurial businesses is a plus
