Senior Creative Strategist

Our client is an innovative and rapidly expanding founder led ecommerce brand within the beauty industry. They are experiencing year-on-year growth and actively planning international expansion, so a really exciting time to join a fast growing organisation, driving creative strategy and directly impacting business growth.

Position Overview:
This newly created position will be the backbone of its creative efforts, with a focus on advertising, ideation and production of high-converting ad content. You will be working autonomously while collaborating closely with the founders and Content Lead to produce scroll-stopping and engaging content that sells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write high-converting ad scripts for Meta
  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, storyboards and briefs based on customer psychology and performance data
  • Translate product benefits into scroll-stopping creative angles
  • Define a vision for statics and video that support campaign variety and testing
  • Direct the Founder and Content Lead to bring briefs to life
  • Generate a consistent flow of b-roll ideas for use in hooks and voiceover ads
  • Brief and direct editors and review edits for performance, along with brand fit
  • Partner with their media buyer to understand how to optimise Meta
  • Iterate fast – design, launch and analyse structured creative tests
  • Build frameworks and systems to scale the in-house creative function
  • Collaborate with Founders on campaigns, launches and brand-building
  • Create evergreen ad strategies, as well as campaign specific ads 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience in direct response advertising, ecommerce and Meta ads
  • A strong understanding of direct response marketing, specifically taking customers from problem to solution
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a brand through creative strategy
  • Experience working autonomously and being self-sufficient
  • The ability to work collaboratively with Founders and team members while driving independent projects
  • Proficiency in direct response advertising, ecommerce platforms, Meta ad tools and ad writing
  • Experience in an agency setting or with high-performing agencies is highly regarded
