Website Trading Lead

We are partnering with a well-established, multi-brand retailer with a strong presence across ecommerce and digital channels. They have built a loyal customer base and continues to invest heavily in its online growth strategy.

As part of this journey, they are looking for a Website Trading Lead to take ownership of how products are presented, merchandised and converted online. This is a commercially focused ecommerce role where you will sit at the intersection of trading, merchandising, content and performance.

You will be responsible for driving online revenue through effective site merchandising, campaign execution and continuous optimisation of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and execute the ecommerce trading plan to deliver weekly sales and revenue targets
• Manage on-site merchandising, ensuring products are prioritised in line with commercial and promotional activity
• Optimise customer journeys to improve conversion rate, average order value and basket size
• Oversee product setup, ensuring accuracy across pricing, imagery, descriptions and content
• Lead the execution of campaigns, launches and promotional activity across the website
• Drive cross-sell and upsell strategies through effective merchandising and site experience
• Work closely with content teams to integrate storytelling, video and product education into the digital journey
• Monitor performance, analyse data and provide actionable insights to improve results
• Identify and implement CRO initiatives and website enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, content and technical teams

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• 3 years experience in ecommerce trading, merchandising or digital optimisation within retail or consumer businesses
• Solid understanding of conversion rate optimisation and customer journey best practice
• Strong analytical capability, with experience using tools such as GA4 to inform decisions
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in retail, fashion, beauty or a similar category will be highly regarded.
