Our client is a growing and successful apparel retailer with a strong brick-and-mortar and Ecommerce presence, both in Australia and New Zealand. Well-known for their quality products at affordable price points, they are continually growing and expanding their business.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate CRM Manager to join their Ecommerce team, reporting directly to the Head of Ecommerce.

This role is crucial for shaping and implementing their CRM strategy, enhancing the customer journey and creating highly personalised experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end CRM activities, involving hands-on tool usage, including building emails. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Analysis, Segmentation & Insights: Deep dive into data to analyse customer behaviour, purchase patterns and engagement metrics, identifying opportunities to evolve strategies that maximise customer lifetime value.
  • CRM Strategy & Lifecycle Marketing Optimisation: Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy across the full customer lifecycle, focusing on delivering highly personalised customer experiences.
  • Customer Journey, Campaigns & Database Engagement: Devise, plan, and execute a multi-channel customer communication strategy to improve key performance metrics and support the broader brand strategy. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support and contribute to the customer acquisition strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders across marketing, Ecommerce and brand teams.
  • Database Health & Reporting: Monitor database health, understand data flows and processes, and improve data capture, data quality, and engagement rates. 
  • Platform Expertise: Become the Emarsys CRM platform superuser and champion the voice of the customer within the brand.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar commercially focused CRM role, ideally within a retail environment (apparel, bricks and mortar experience is highly considered)
  • A strategic mindset with a keen eye for personalisation and experience driving a comprehensive testing strategy
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into customer trends 
  • Proficiency with customer email platforms 
  • A genuine passion for customer relationship management and nurturing customer relationships,
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
