Head of Operations

This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO and the Head of Operations will be instrumental in bringing stability, structure and operational excellence to their fast-paced business, leading a team of 4 direct reports. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and effective team management, fostering a calm and cohesive environment even under pressure
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including touring operations, and ensure the seamless execution of projects and initiatives
  • Own the end-to-end supply chain including offshore and domestic garment sourcing, print, quality control and inbound logistics
  • Ensure the D2C Shopify operation runs to standard: fulfilment, customer service and inventory accuracy
  • Manage the company’s profit and loss, demonstrating a holistic understanding of business financials
  • Monitor communication flow, including during weekend tours, to ensure timely responses from the touring team and proactively address issues before they escalate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 7 years in a senior Operations role or general management capacity within the music, live event space or physical product sector
  • Proven leadership ability, with a track record of effectively managing teams
  • Strong financial acumen, including direct P&L accountability and a comprehensive understanding of business financials
  • Ideally, a background in the music, fashion, art, or creative industries, coupled with a genuine passion for music
  • Demonstrated resilience and maturity
  • A natural curiosity for AI to gain efficiencies 
  • Excellent communication management skills, particularly in overseeing live events and escalating issues appropriately
  • A tenacious and gritty work ethic, willing to “roll up your sleeves” and actively participate in all aspects of operations
