Are you an experienced Senior Product Manager who thrives on solving complex problems, defining product strategy and building scalable product management processes?
This is an opportunity to join an innovative Australian health technology company whose software supports private hospitals and clinics across Australia. You’ll take ownership of a well-established, cloud-based patient administration platform that plays a critical role in customers’ day-to-day operations. As the business enters its next phase of growth, you’ll help shape the future of the product while improving how it is managed and delivered.
Working alongside the CTO and executive leadership team, you’ll define product direction, lead a team of Business Analysts and establish product management processes that enable the business to scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for a market-leading patient administration software platform
- Define quarterly product priorities and customer strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, providing direction, coaching and development
- Manage the product backlog and requirements, ensuring work aligns with strategic priorities
- Partner closely with the CTO to determine what should be built and balance customer needs with technical feasibility
- Gather customer insights to identify product opportunities and prioritise improvements
- Transform existing product documentation and requirements into a scalable, structured knowledge base
- Establish repeatable product management processes that improve delivery and reduce reliance on key individuals
- Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure products solve genuine customer problems
- Prioritise product enhancements alongside technical debt in collaboration with Engineering
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience scaling SaaS products with responsibility for product strategy and delivery
- Experience leading Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts or similar product teams
- Strong product judgement with the ability to identify customer needs, prioritise effectively and make sound commercial decisions
- A track record of building scalable product management processes and improving ways of working
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers, executives and technical teams
- Healthcare or patient-facing software experience is advantageous
